Back Yard Sling Shot!

I was watching David Letterman the other night and he was talking about a “backyard slingshot” on his show. Wow. This looks nuts! Would you try this?

Could you imagine going 70 miles an hour, back and forth? Holy smokes. Has anyone ever done anything similar to this?

I remember when I was little my little brother wanted a sling shot so bad. My dad said he would make him one (he’s an avid/talented carpenter). So, Matt drew up some “plans” and dad crafted him a slingshot. It couldn’t hold anything more than pebbles, let alone a person!
